This is where I'll catalog all my thoughts. Larger posts will have their own page and a link to them here. Will be updated whenever I feel like it.
Another boring few days. Time marches on as always. At least summer is finally starting to end and fall is just around the corner. The bugs will go back to hell where they belong. Grey, windy days let's gooooooooo!
Decided to finally make a Neocities website a week ago. Crazy, I know. Always looked interesting to do but felt daunting, but it's actually not that difficult, all things considered. Most people put all sorts of crazy CSS stuff on their sites but I prefer to keep it fairly simple (and not just because I don't feel like figuring it out). I've never really done journalling, so I'll see how far I'll go with it. I don't talk with anyone else about the myriad of thoughts I have in my mind, so might as well type it into the abyss. Better than talking to myslf like a lunatic.
Making this website compelled me to revisit my friend Rainheaven's old archived Neocities site. Rain is one of my friends from VRChat and the one I've known the longest. When he was deployed for 6 months in the Pacific (He's in the Navy) internet was extremely spotty on the aircraft carrier he was in, so me and him exchanged emails old-school for a while. He's big into technology, online privacy, and music, though the former two not as strongly as before. It's a five year old site, so he's changed a bit since then. Even so, he's a great guy and a good friend.
In other recent news, I've ordered a new headstrap for my Quest 2. The strap that comes with it is absolute trash. Ever watch those videos of people putting a bunch of rubber bands on a watermelon and seeing how many they can stretch around it before it eventually explodes? That's what my head feels like if I wear my headset for too long. Also, one of the plastic pieces that you use to tighten and loosen broke, so... Yeah, good timing. Hopefully this new one is more comfortable.
